Lis Wihl (born on 19 August 1961) was an American lawyer and writer who was employed by Fox News.
She is currently an adjunct law professor at New York Law School. Before that she was an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. She has been a legal analyst on National Public Radio's show and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly Lou Dobbs Tonight the Imus morning shows as well as hosts the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl, who was born and grew up at Yakima located in Washington State, was a graduate of Yakima in the state of Washington from West Valley High School. She earned a bachelor's diploma from Barnard College (1983), the Master of Arts in Literary Studies from University of Queensland (1985) in addition to a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl served as prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. Her role was as the correspondent for legal issues of the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as "deputy chief of the investigative team for Democrats on House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's re-election. She worked as a law professor with an appointment in the University of Washington School of Law Seattle between 1995 and 2001. Wiehl was a Fox News legal analyst from 2001 until 2017.
