Emily Swallow

Swallow started her Broadway career in the theatre, appearing in various productions including High Fidelity at the Guthrie Theater as well as King Lear for Shakespeare in the Park. She also performed as a character in Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park and the world premiere of the Off-Broadway productions Romantic Poetry, Measure for Pleasure. Swallow debuted in film as a dramaturge from the military, The Lucky Ones. The film was world premieres for Donald Margulies' The Country House and Louis Jenkins' Nice Fish both at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse. She was honored in 2010 with the Falstaff Award, which is awarded to the actress who's performance is the best in a stage production. The performance she gave as Kate in The Taming of the Shrew as Kate was the reason she received the award. Swallow and Jac huberman performed a Jac N Swallow stage show in New York, at both the Laurie Beeckman Theater & Joe's Pub on the 4th of December in 2012. The comedy misadventures are centered around two characters who encounter different difficulties in their lives and with different levels of respect and sanity. It is planned to create a show based around the characters. Guthrie Theater Guthrie Theater premiered Nice Fish in 2013 as a collaborative effort with Mark Rylance and Louis Jenkins. In 2016 she portrayed the role as Ayad Akhtar in the show Disgraced, produced by Center Theatre Group. Swallow was first seen on television on Guiding Light. Her other characters comprise Southland. The Good Wife. NCIS. Flight of the Conchords. Medium. As series regular The Doctor. Michelle Robidaux in TNT's Medical drama Monday Mornings[22. One of her roles was part in the main role of The Mentalist as FBI agent Kim Fischer. In the year 2015, she was the character Amara in Supernatural's 11th season in the role of "the Darkness". As of 2019, she's the Armorer for The Mandalorian in Star Wars and also the head of the traditionalist Mandalorians. Her appearance hasn't been seen in the series as traditionalists are not allowed to take off their helmets in the view of other people. This character was more visible in season 3 because the focus of the plot was Mandalorian tradition and the people who live there that were not only Mandalorian. Emily Emily Emily
