Bellamy Young

Young's acting career began in theatre. In 1997 she had her Broadway debut as Mary in the first cast of The Life. She starred Off Broadway as a character in Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily we Roll Along (1994) and Randy Newman's Faust, (1995-1996). The actress made her debut on TV in 1995, with regular appearances on the character Dr. Courtney Evans, NBC's daytime soap show Another World. Between 1997 and 1998,, she guest-starred in Law & Order, playing two roles. Her debut on film came in 1999. She had a minor role in Black and White. In the years following, she appeared in several independent movies. At the start of 2000, she began guest-starring roles on a number of comedy and drama shows on television, including The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Young was a part of more than 30 TV shows between 2000 and 2011. Young was one of the main actors on Peacemakers The Peacemakers, a USA Network television series that aired in 2003. After nine episodes, the series stopped after a single episode. There were recurring characters in the Lifetime legal drama For the People as Deputy Dist. Atty. Agnes Hunt in 2002, on NBC time-drama American Dreams as Diane Shaw in 2003. Later, she appeared on NBC's Scrubs as the character Dr. Grace Miller in 2004, as assistant State Attorney Monica West on CBS's CSI: Miami (2005-06), and also on ABC premiertime soap opera Dirty Sexy Money (2008-2009) as Ellen Darling, the eldest daughter-in-law of the Darling family. From 2011 to 2013 she played Beth Clemmons in Criminal Minds. Bellamy Bellamy Bellamy
